3 Pillars of Training
Trust, Communication and Continuity are the main pillars of training at High Paw Club.
How do we build a relationship of Trust with our dog? The first step is understanding our dog's needs and fulfilling them. Once our dog's biological needs have been met, they are more willing to accept our guidance.
How do we effectively Communicate with our dogs? We learn their body language signals and teach them to understand our verbal signals. We do this through a reward system that makes sense to them. That could be with praise and affection, treats and/or toys.
How do we create Continuity? We must remember that our dogs are constantly learning and adapting to us. We need to consistently guide our dogs so that they are able to make great decisions all on their own.
Let's start working towards creating a world where our dogs can THRIVE!
